Marketing Strategist
Job Type: 1-year contract (potential for permanent employment at the end of the contract)
Start Date: May 2024

We are seeking a talented and goal-oriented Marketing Strategist to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that align with our clients’ objectives and target audiences. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create and execute integrated and impactful campaigns, leveraging various marketing channels and tactics.
This role is a key player on our team and requires an individual who loves:
- Adapting to diverse tasks and turning conceptual problems into creative and executable solutions.
- Big-picture thinking, analyzing situations, and looking beyond the short-term task to imagine how your ideas can translate to marketing campaigns that will generate real results.
- Continuous learning and applying new, as well as tried and true, trends and best practices.

Education/Employment Experience:
- A diploma or degree in marketing or a related field or applicable training
- Demonstrated experience in the following areas:
- Developing product, service, or audience engagement campaign strategies
- Analyzing market data and key performance indicators
- Tracking social media trends
- Performing consumer and market research
- Generating innovative ideas promoting brands, products, services, or messages
- Monitoring brand messaging for consistency across marketing channels
- Developing marketing content
- Tracking campaign progress
- Implementing digital marketing campaigns leveraging social media advertising channels, Google 360 network, earned media channels, etc.
- Core competencies:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
- Collaborative personality
- Demonstrated leadership, providing analysis and marketing
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market research, including competitor analysis and audience insights
- Develop and execute marketing strategies that align with client objectives, target audience, and budget constraints
- Develop key messages and marketing copy
- Utilize data-driven insights to monitor campaign performance, track key metrics, and make data-backed optimizations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to inform and enhance marketing strategies
- Provide strategic guidance to clients on marketing initiatives and opportunities for growth
- Develop and present comprehensive marketing reports and analysis to clients
- Foster strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor in marketing strategy and planning
