Digital Designer.

Full-time, permanent position

As a Digital Designer, you are skilled at translating creative briefs into highly original, goal-oriented concepts and products. You have the talent to blend words, images and technology into visually-stunning products and engaging brand experiences. You are equally adept at creating for online, print or display. You can convert complex data concepts and texts into easy-to-understand infographics or presentations. You are accomplished in current technologies but always have your head up, ready to challenge yourself and adapt to changes on the horizon. You are a self-starter, able to accomplish your tasks with minimal supervision. And, you are an excellent verbal communicator, love to collaborate with like-minded creatives, and are an active participant in briefings, meetings and strategy sessions.

Must‐have skills:
  • A diploma or degree in Graphic Design or applicable training
  • 5+ years of AGENCY experience or similar work environments
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates your design abilities, particularly in document layout
  • Demonstrated experience designing for brand, web, social, packaging, displays, infographics and presentation materials
  • A good understanding of UI/UX design principles
  • Practical, hands-on experience applying AODA/WCAG 2.0 accessibility design and layout principles for web or PDF
  • The ability to meet and maintain high standards for quality control 
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Adobe Creative Cloud expert-level skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat)
  • Proficiency with Adobe XD and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)5
Nice‐to‐have skills:
  • Illustration
  • Ability to wireframe and prototype digital products
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Videography and/or photography skills
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Sketch)
