Know your rights.

The Government of Canada launches new regulations aimed at clearer and more consistent rights for air passengers.

Accurate Creative partnered with the Canadian Transportation Agency to launch new Air Passenger Protection Regulations. Effective July 15, 2019, airlines are required to meet new obligations related to a host of common issues passengers experience when travelling by air, including communication, denied boarding, tarmac delays, lost or stolen baggage, and the transportation of musical instruments.

As a long-time partner to the Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA), Accurate was commisioned to develop a brand strategy aimed at effectively promoting the new regulations across various products and channels and therefore informing and educating Canadians on their rights when travelling by air. 

 

The anchor product of the strategy is a comprehensive website designed to help travellers clearly understand their rights and responsibilities as well as easily file a complaint should they have one.

A suite of 14 icons illustrate the many rights covered by the new Air Passenger Protection Regulations.

In addition to the website, a wide range of communications products were created such as roll-up banners and digital billboards, web display ads and a series of five animated video shorts informing travellers about their rights under the new legislation.
