The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Graphic Designer with strong experience in layout, branding, production, and visual communication. This is a role for someone who combines creative thinking with technical precision—someone who understands that strong design isn’t just visually polished, but clear, functional, accessible, and built properly from the ground up.

You’ll work across a wide range of projects, from branding and publications to reports, campaigns, and digital assets. Working alongside strategists, writers, account leads, and other designers, you’ll contribute thoughtful design solutions, bring structure to complex information, and help ensure the work is executed to a high standard from concept through production.

Education & Experience

  • Diploma or degree in Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of professional design experience in an agency, studio, or fast-paced environment
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong layout, branding, typography, and production work

What You’ll Love Doing

  • Designing and producing creative across print and digital
  • Creating thoughtful layouts and visual systems that are clear, polished, and easy to navigate
  • Applying and adapting established brand systems across a wide range of deliverables
  • Translating complex or data-heavy information into engaging, easy-to-understand visuals
  • Designing accessible materials with a strong understanding of readability, hierarchy, and compliance standards
  • Preparing accurate, production-ready files for print and digital delivery
  • Troubleshooting design, formatting, and production challenges as they arise
  • Juggling multiple projects and timelines with a calm, organized approach
  • Collaborating closely with others to move projects forward smoothly and thoughtfully

Skills & Expertise

  • Advanced understanding of layout, typography, colour, hierarchy, and visual communication
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong experience with long-format documents, reports, presentations, and branded collateral
  • Deep understanding of print production and preparing clean, accurate layout files
  • Ability to interpret and apply established brand standards consistently across multiple formats
  • Strong understanding of WCAG/AODA accessible design principles and compliance requirements
  • Experience in structuring and visualizing complex information and data clearly
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Close attention to detail and care for craft
