CPCS Transcom Limited
Rebrand and Website Development
CPCS is a global management consulting firm specializing in transportation, power, and public-private partnerships. They hired Accurate Creative to help reimagine their brand and capture their bright and dynamic corporate culture. Over and above the need for a refreshed brand, the need for a new website was also identified.
We began our work by immersing ourselves in the culture of CPCS. Our research culminated in a Creative Brief—a document that set the foundation for all creative and strategic work to follow—and included key messaging and a new tagline.
We then began the rebranding exercise by updating the CPCS logo. We explored completely new design approaches as well as more subtle updates to their existing mark. Ultimately, we agreed the existing CPCS logo had built valuable brand recognition over the years and we opted for a sleek and modern update rather than a completely new design.
With the findings from the creative brief, we began the rebranding exercise by updating the CPCS logo. We explored completely new design approaches as well as more subtle updates to their existing mark. Ultimately, we agreed the existing CPCS logo had built valuable brand recognition over the years and we opted for a sleek and modern update rather than a completely new design. The updated mark aligns with CPCS’s highly talented, dynamic and driven staff—a team that self-identifies as small and scrappy, problem-solving professionals who are passionate about their global impact.
The brand system that emerged made use of a bold colour palette, modern shapes, and a clean design framework that ultimately reflected CPCS’s modernized corporate culture and brought new energy to the organization.
With the new brand established, we then shifted our focus to the new website. Our goal was to strengthen existing relationships and create new ones with audiences by engaging them in a website with an experience-driven, storytelling format. This was achieved by developing a relatively shallow information architecture, minimizing the number of clicks needed to get to relevant information. The wireframe and user interface design took a similar minimalistic approach, making use of white space and leveraging the new brand assets to create an engaging and user-friendly experience.
